Oem Code P2098 For Jeep Wrangler 2005 Tj

Check engine light came on after vehicle was driven mistakenly in 2H on highway (speeds from 45-60 mph). Code shows as P2098. Can this be related, or was this a coincidence?

P2098 = Post Catalyst Fuel Trim System Too Lean Bank 2

Too lean is one of 2 things - too much air or not enough fuel.

Its usually an O2 sensor but it could be a vacuum leak or it could be a fuel problem - pump, filter, etc.
