Compatible Thermal Sensor.
I've recently purchased an Intel S1200BTL Serverbored and a Chassis from Supermicro. this works fine except the fact that the fans run at 100% when the case is closed, This is costly and not to mention extreemly loud.
I've searched for information on the thermal sensors but have been unable to find anything other than, what is in my opinion, a verry blatant scheme to advertise Intel's chassis with their own sensors built in. This option is out of the question for me and ive been searching for a thermal sensor that is compatible, and where on the mother board it is connected to.
Do you know which sensors are needed and where they are connected?
