Disposal Makes New Noise

Disposal 500-1A makes new noise: sounds like a loose blade. Nothing is in the disposal. What to do?

A loose blade is the most likely cause of this new noise. You can remove the blade and clean it with a degreaser, or you can replace the blade if it is worn out.
