Cannot Get The Hindges On The Glass Door Besta Tombo To Work Cannot Attach Help

Did the hinges work before you attached them to the frame or the glass door? If so, your spacing might be off...although this is surprising since you did not drill the holes.

It is also possible that the hinge was bent, possibly before you recieved the item or picked it up from the store.

You can take the hinge and go to some hardware stores or hardware sections of the big boxes and find a hinge of the same size and type. You can contact Ikea Customer Service to find out how to get a replacement hinge.  You will probably have to pay for it if available.

You can look at the assembly instuctions online where you can supersize them for a better view. This is a link to the Ikea online assembly instruction manuals for their products. You select by the letter, in this case B for Besta.  Scroll down the page and select the glass door. Open it and take a look. Be advised: if you live close (enough) to an Ikea store, return it that way because despite a 90 day return policy - with a receipt - you will not be reimbursed for shipping should you mail it back or have it picked up.

I don't know if they've improved the quality of their knock down furniture or not but you do know that your doors are probably fiberboard under the aluminum and fiberboard doesn't hold screws well.
