Dead Spot When Trying To Start 2005 Hyundai 3.5 Santa Fe Gls.
Most times the engine turns over at the turn of the key. Lately however, there is an occasional dead spot where there is nothing other than illuminated dash lighting. Multiple repeat attempts to turn the ignition key will eventually get the engine to kick over. Is this a bad starter, ignition switch or some other issue? Battery is new and alternator is performing as expected with engine running.
