Service Charges

I was told by Capital Hyundi in San Jose, Ca that to replace the cabin air filter on my 2012 Elantra Limited would be a charge of $60.00. I thought that was rediculas. I purchased a original Hyundai filter elsewhere for $20.00, this means I would have been paying $40 for labor. I installed the filter myself in less than 2 minutes. That comes at 2 min. to $20.00 per min. labor. That equates to $1200 an hour labor. How can anyone justify such price gouging. God only knows what a bigger problem would cost. My question is is this your normal pricing or is Capital Hundai ripping its customers off???

You seem to be confusing us (an independent help site) with Hyundai. To get an answer to your pricing question--or to complain about the dealership's pricing--see the contact information here--https://www.contacthelp.com/hyundai/customer-service.

An additional or alternative course would be to use a review site such as www.yelp.com, widely read by prospective customers and business owners alike; or consider a complaint site like https://www.gripeo.com/ or http://www.consumeraffairs.com/, each of which is designed to get action from the offending companies.
