Howling Noise From Tucson Rear Wheels

I have an intermittent howling noise from the rear of my 2007 Tucson. The noise develops usually at highway speeds and usually after 15 minutes or more of driving. The noise stops when I tap my brakes, but returns soon thereafter. Any ideas what it might be?

I have a similar issuewith my 2007 Tucson Viva,  but I'm not sure whether it's from the wheels or the roofrack or wind deflector on the back. If I slightly turn the wheel or tap the breaks it temporarily stop, but the sound appears to be coming from the roof. Seems to happen around 90-100km/hr....55/60 mph.  Let me know if you resolve the issue.
