2004 Santa Fe Check Engine Is On.code P0501.engine Dohc 24v.which Speed Sensor

is wrong and where is located. Thank you for your help.

P0501 means there is a problem with the Vehicle Speed Sensor. VSS is not sending data to the ECU. The ECM receives vehicle speed information from the right front wheel speed sensor, presuming your Santa Fe isn't equipped with ABS. Check the tone wheel on the axle and check the wiring going to the sensor, these are far more common problems than problems with the sensor itself.
