Remove all the plastic covers that you see. There ought to be in by the door handle, and two under the armrest. You may need to remove the plastic cover by the interior door handle by pushing forward on the plastic unit. Check to ensure that all the screws are removed(philips), and tug gently on the door panel. There might be some or one that you may have missed. Do not force it off. There are plastic "anchors" that hold the door panel to the door itself. Some might break, but can be replaced with others from your local parts store.
