To properly adjust the throttle cable on a Husqvarna LGT2654, follow these steps:

Park the mower on a level surface and engage the parking brake.

Turn the key to the "OFF" position and remove it from the ignition.

Locate the throttle cable adjustment screw at the carburetor end of the cable. It is usually a small screw with a locknut around it.

Loosen the locknut.

Turn the adjustment screw clockwise until there is no slack in the cable. Be careful not to overtighten the cable, as this can damage it.

Tighten the locknut.

Start the engine and check the throttle response. The engine should respond immediately to throttle changes. If it does not, adjust the cable again.

Here are some additional tips for adjusting the throttle cable on your Husqvarna LGT2654:

Make sure that the cable is properly routed through all of the guides and pulleys.

Check the cable for any signs of damage or wear. If the cable is damaged, it must be replaced immediately.

Lubricate the cable with a silicone spray to help keep it from fraying or binding.

Adjust the cable regularly, especially if you notice any changes in the throttle response.

If you are not comfortable adjusting the throttle cable yourself, you can take your mower to a qualified service technician.
