455 Chain Catcher
twice i have threw a chain cought on the catcher then ruined the chain any help on what to do. when it cought it ruined a couple of links both times. at 25 a pop for a chain this is not cheap

With proper chain tension on a husqvarna, you should rarely throw a chain... odds are your chain was loose, or you were cutting with the bar bound up. Do you check and adjust chain tension every time you fill up? If so and you're still having problems, it could be a badly worn bar.
As far as the chain being wrecked from hitting the catcher.... not much you can do about that. Just be glad it was there and ruined your chain rather than your leg..
