My 44905 Thermostat Is Flashing. All Letters And N 44905 Is Flashing
my 44905 is flashing. Every letter and number is flashing. 88 is flashing. I just put in new batteries.

A common thermostat issue people find with their thermostat is a blinking or flashing light. If your thermostat is blinking, here are a few ways to troubleshoot it.CHECK THE BATTERY
If your the screen on your thermostat is blinking, it may just mean that the battery is low, and this is simply your unit's way of telling you to replace its batteries before it dies entirely. If this is the case, unscrew the thermostat from your wall and replace its batteries. If the unit continues to blink, you may have a big issue on your hands.
CHECK THE OUTSIDE UNITIf your indoor heat or air conditioning is still running, but your thermostat is flashing a red light, there is probably something wrong with your outdoor unit. When that red light flashes on your thermostat, it's usually your system's way of telling you that the outside system is "locked out" - meaning it's detected a problem and has stopped running.
If you fail to inspect the outdoor unit, your indoor will still run. However, it will never really be able to satisfy your heating and cooling needs on its own and will constantly run to try and pick up the slack - running up your energy bill in the process.
Since there can be a number of issues wrong with your outdoor unit that can cause it to "lockout," so it's best to have a professional HVAC technician look at your system.
