Ticking Thermostat
My thermostat normally ticks once before turning the heat on or off. Once in awhile it will tick repeatedly and will quit if I adjust the temperature slightly. How can I make it quit doing this?

Flat-head screwdriver
Small Phillips-head screwdriver
Hammer
Electric drill and 3/16" bit
Two fresh 1.5 Volt (AA) size alkaline batteries
