Oven Continues To Relight When Turned Off
I have seen this exact problem listed continuously over the internet. My oven continues to relight itself and turn on. I can slightly force the oven knob past the OFF point and it will turn off, only to relight once I let go. Also, when I did try to use it PURPOSELY, the ENTIRE stove got extremely hot to the touch. Maybe this needs to be a recall item? My husband and I didn't even realize the oven was pretty much continuously running on a low heat for quite some time. We unplugged and turned off the gas to it, and our next gas bill was 1/2 the cost of the previous month. Can this be fixed, and can I get the part for a reasonable price?
