F7452-900 Spinscrub Motor Sounded Funny, Emitted Strange Odor
I had been using my F7452-900 Spin Scrub at the time that this happened. The motor all of a sudden shifted in sound from the normal, operating louder noise to that of a lower drone. At that point, it emitted an odor that smelled much like the smell that my Kirby emits when I've broken a belt. I immediately shut the unit off, emptied the dirty water tank, replaced the tank and turned the unit back on. It sounded the same. The brushes did not spin and I double-checked to make sure that it was set for "carpet", which it was. Any idea as to what the problem could be? Here it is two days before Thanksgiving and I have HALF a carpet cleaned! HELP!!!
