Puddle Puddle

I have a Hoover fh50230 I brought it last Feb and the last 3 times i have used it I have noticed it dumps the water out ok but it doesn't stuck the water up out of the carpeting.  I have ck'd it over and it looks like everything is where it needs to be.  Should I replace parts?
