Why isn't my Hoover carpet cleaner won't suction?
The most common cause of loss of suction is that the filters have become blocked. They may require cleaning or replacing. Another cause could be that the vacuum cleaner hose is blocked. Inspect the base of the vacuum cleaner for blockages and ensure that the belts are not broken.
Why did my Hoover carpet cleaner stop working?
Hoover Carpet Cleaner Troubleshooting
Turn the cleaner off and unplug the machine. Check the recovery tank and empty it if it is full. Tighten the filter lid if it is askew. If the filter is clogged with dirt or is heavy with hair and debris, change it out.
How do you unclog a Hoover carpet cleaner?
Grasp the nozzle in one hand and hold it up slightly at an angle, so that you can slide the T-shaped end of the nozzle-cleaning tool inside to remove debris. Slide the tool up and then right or left and down, to pull the clog out of the nozzle. Repeat as needed, until you've completely cleaned out the nozzle.
1. Remove the solution tank.
2. Recline the handle and let the cleaner lay down flat.
3. Remove the dirty water tank lid.
4. Adjust the front panel located on the outside of the tank in the center so that it is flush and even across.
5. Assemble lid back on dirty water tank from the front to the back. Be sure the lid does not lift off from the front.
