I have an older (1960's) gas furnace, and am trying to install a Honeywell RCT8100A programmable thermostat. However, there are only two wires (one white & one black) connected to the old thermostat (also a honeywell manual/non-programmable) and no markings that match the connections to the new thermostat. How do I know which connections the wires need to be connected to?
