Insert the CR2032 coin cell. Insert 4 LR14 "C" alkaline batteries (not supplied). Ensure the face marked "+" is facing up (Fig. 2).

Volume Control
The volume control is behind the sliding window on the front of the chime. After you have tested your system, adjust to mid-point. Initially, set the control to the desired volume.
