Recovering The Combination To A Safe
Hello -Probably 8 years ago, I purchased a used safe from a gentleman in Lancaster, NY that had retired from his business of making head stones for cemeteries. He had advertised it on Craigslist. When we moved to our new property & were in the middle of some remodeling, we moved the safe to a different location within our home temporarily. Somehow, we have managed to misplace the combination, and our toddler granddaughter must have shut the door and obviously turned the dial. The key was left in, and we quickly figured out that she must have turned the dial, because it would no longer open. Is there some way to recover the combination? We, literally, have been looking for it on and off for about 3 years now. We have some important papers we'd like to file away to ensure they stay "safe" for not only my business's paperwork, as well as some of our personal paperwork! No pun intended!!The Honeywell Model is the 2054 - 1 Hour Steel Fire Safe Serial Number 021602Thank you for your time!PS - I did not attach pictures, as I am not sure they are needed at this time. But I can surely send them to you if you'd like.

The security of the safe [the reason for using a safe!] would be compromised if your could replace the combination without knowing the former combination. Your only option is to get the combination from the seller (if that's what you used) or somehow recover a combination you created. (Sorry.)
