Humidifier Not Outputting Mist As Usual?
I have been at college and when I came home to use my humidifier, the water isn't being absorbed and there is no mist coming out when I turn it on. Thinking I had to give it time to "warm up" (which I have never had to do), I left it on for 10+ hours and there is still the same amount of water in it as when I turned it on this morning.

humidifier has some electrical parts that wear out and get dirty. Check the transistor and the oscillator in the generator. These may need replacing if they are not producing enough power. Also check the transducer, making sure the electrical current between the spring and the transducer is clean. If the contacts are dirty, wipe them down with a clean rag to get a good connection.
