7k500 Doesn't Work In External Hdd Enclosure.
If I put my 7K500-160 HDD in an external USB3 enclosure, some where in that process the HDD will stop. I hear a click as if the heads are being moved to home and the formatting halts with an error. It will restart Ok, but the same think happens again and again.
If I do the same thing using an external eSATA with the same HDD, all is well. No issues at all. I have tried two different enclosures with the same results. The enclosure works fine with other HDDs. Any thoughts? Low power issue?
