How To Install A Linux System

Hi, how can i install Mandriva Linux on this notebook? I just bought and I come in trouble because of the 4 primary partition that are already on ths HDD. wr CJMeyer

You can download the Mandriva install CD's from their web site. https://www.mandriva.com/en/downloads/

Installing this will require that you repartition the disk. If you are unfamiliar with it I suggest you have a tech handle it since you can cause the system to stop booting and lose everything in Windows if it's done wrong.

I don't want to be the cause of you erasing your data so I will recommend having a tech look at it and/or help you rather than explain the entire process (which can be long and involved)
