Touchpad

I RECENTY PURCHASED THIS LAPTOP, IS IT NORMAL TO HAVE THE TOUCHPAD RIASED A LITTLE BIT TOWARDS THE OUTER SIDE WHEREIN YOU HAVE THE CLICKING PART?
