Hp Officejet 6600
My new hp officejet 6600 will not scan and i have read that it requires an usb to work. I have tried to download the full feature software from hp and it says the file is corrupt.

It actually doesn't require USB to scan and I have been experiencing the same issue with my desktop computer as it works fine on my laptop which is downstairs and connected via WIFI. I suspect that it might be a problem with my WIFI network adapter and I am going to try and change it out and see what happens. I have tried everything on that system to get it to work, it works fine on both my other computers but will not work on my desktop! I've done system restore and everything you can imagine and when I go to install the software it fails saying it doesn't recognize my computer on the network...I have checked all my homegroup and network stuff to make sure everything is ok and its all good..my laptop recognizes this computer so I am a little puzzled as to why this won't work but strongly suspect my adapter is on the fritz as I have been having intermittent wifi issues.
