Computer Won't Even Turn On (using Another Laptop Right Now)

Last night it was working perfectly.  I come back to turn it on this morning and no go.. When I put in the charger, the signal light indicates the battery is charging, but it won't turn on for me even

Try removing the battery and putting it back on. If that doesn't fix it then you will have to either send it in to HP for repair or bring it to a local repair shop.

I had the same issue and here is how to fix.

Remove the batery and ac adaptor. Hold the power key for 30-45 seconds. Tech support told me that this is a way of draining all remaining power in the machine. Once complete connect the ac adaptor but leave the battery out. Power up. Worked for me first time.
