Immediately press the F10 key to enter the BIOS Setup Utility.
Use the arrow keys to navigate to the Configuration tab.
Select Virtualization Technology from the menu.
Enable this setting with the left or right arrow key.
Press F10 to save your changes and exit BIOS Setup.
Once you have enabled VT virtualization, you will be able to run virtual machines on your HP EliteBook 8460p.
Here are some additional tips:
Make sure that your computer has a processor that supports VT virtualization. You can check the processor specifications to see if it supports VT virtualization.
If you are using a 64-bit operating system, you will need to enable VT virtualization in the operating system as well. The steps for enabling VT virtualization in the operating system will vary depending on the operating system that you are using.

1. Start by powering on your laptop and immediately press the Esc key repeatedly until the startup menu appears.
2. In the startup menu, press F10 to enter the BIOS setup utility.
3. Once inside the BIOS setup utility, navigate using the arrow keys to the "System Configuration" tab.
4. Look for an option named "Virtualization Technology" or "VT" and select it.
5. Use the arrow keys to change the option from "Disabled" to "Enabled".
6. After enabling Virtualization Technology, save the changes by pressing the F10 key and then choose "Yes" to confirm the changes.
7. Your laptop will now restart. Once the laptop has restarted, Virtualization Technology (VT) should be enabled on your HP EliteBook 8460p. This will allow you to run virtual machines and use other virtualization software.
Please note that the specific steps may vary slightly depending on the BIOS version and configuration of your laptop. If you don't see the option to enable VT in the BIOS, it's possible that your laptop may not support it.
If you encounter any difficulties or if the option is not available in your BIOS, it's recommended to consult the HP support website or contact their customer support for further assistance specific to your device.
I hope this is helpful? PLEASE "ACCEPT" and mark it "HELPFUL" to complement my little effort. Hope to bring you more detailed answers.
