Hp Pavillion Dv6623cl Laptop Has Maestro Keylogger, Need To Wipe And Reset-how?

My HP Pavillion DV6623cl laptop has Maestro Keylogger and screen capture installed (found the disk, box, and receipt at my ex-husbands house). My laptop was left there unattended and unlocked because I have nothing to hide.   NEVER thought anyone would want to "track" me online but long story short, I cannot get this keylogger off. I've had people try and even used programs like Prevex but they caused more problems then they solved.   I need to factory reset this device but it has been restore once by HP in year 2 of the warranty because it wouldn't turn on. I've had the laptop since abou 2007 and am wondering how do I get the 3rd recovery disk HP said I needed (one more was added since the last time it was restored) and if I restore it, will it even start up and/or work again??   I have noticed it is very slow and I did replaced the memory, had all the start up programs reviewed, and had it checked out by a pc repair shop but no one can figure it out.   The keypad also doesn't work on some keys and the lights such as Caps Lock light, don't work. Should I just start looking for another com[uter? Unfortunately, I can't afford a new PC so i was hoping to get a tablet from a friend and use this one for Adobe Photoshop and DreamWeaver projects while using the tablet to access the internet. Any ideas as to which direction I should head to find this #3 recovery disc HP said I needed?? I tried searching on their website like they told me to do but I can't find a place to order that 3rd disc anywhere.   I have the first 2 from about 4 years ago, are those out of date? The HP rep had a difficult accent for me to understand what he was saying and I didn't want to be mean so after 30 minutes I ended the call and now am looking for this disc.   Thanks so much for your help!!
