How To Remove Usb Cable
How can I unplug the short USB cable from theHP Jetdirect 175x (j6035G)

The (short OEM) cable seems to be locked into the 175X. It is not currently connected to a printer or the ac adapter. It would be nice to be able to use a longer USB cable. I guess I'll give up on using a longer cable.

Here are the steps:
With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
Remove USB cable, if present.
Wait for 2-3 minutes, press and hold the power button on your printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge.
