Hp Jetdirect 170x What Version Of Java

It has to be a version of Java older than Java 7 Update 51. Starting with that version of java, additional security for unsigned application is needed. The inital web admin screen can be accessed by adding the IP address of the web server to a list of trusted sites in the java control panel app on the security tab. But the "Scan" function built into the web browser interface was lost to the world since it is an unsigned application being called by an unsigned application. No provision for that was included in the more secure java.
