Doesnt Work

I just bought this computer. i set it up and get started. I just downloaded chrome and suddenly it stoped working. I tried turning it off and on and then it was nothing on the screen. Just a sad black picture.

Firstly what was the original O/S and did you rebuild using the onboard build image. If you take a look at the HP link I have attached on another PC if you have one there is troubleshooting and diagnostics that you can run to solve your problem.

It is a common issue if you use a different disk to the OEM and do not check the BIOS version is compatible. Open in safe mode and remove Chrome to see if it a simple move. However if you have only recieved the laptop as new there should be suport from HP or your retailer. If what I suggest does not allow you to resolve your problem by all means raise another question with as much information as possible.
