Change The Setting For Surround Back Amplifier Without Using Osd

I have wired speakers for multi room use for my Harmen AVR 445. I need to change the setting so that the surround back amplifier is fed by the source input. The system is hooked up using HDMI so I cannot use the OSD as instructed by the owners manual. How can I change the setting using the remote and the Main information display.
