The Toast/oven Lever On My Hamilton Beach Toastation 22722 Gets Stuck.
The Toast/Oven lever which opens and closes the slider at the top of the unit gets stuck and won't close. This makes the oven unusable. I've tried to take the whole cover off the unit to investigate, but can't get the toast handle (which is pushed down on the side of the unit) off. Is it glued on? My daughter had this same toaster and had the same problem.

It appears the unit must be fully/partially disassemble to get a clear idea of what be the cause of the oven/toaster switch lever - which can be one of a number of factors.
