Drain Error Code But Machine Drains Fine

My machine has started kicking out an error code 2 which for these models are a draining problem , but the machine is empty and draining fine . Checked the pump and the plumbing , all clear ! Would the pressure switch have malfunctioned ? would this lead the machine to consider there is still water in there and its not emptying? Many thanks for your reply .
