If the ice (frost) is in the refrigeration section (not the freezer section), Haier says:
If the fridge is a not frost free this is normal. If the fridge is the frost free type the possible reasons are; the doors have been opened and closed frequently, the doors have been left open for a long period, there is a lot of wet food like salad or unwrapped food in the compartment, the food is blocking the air circulation in the fridge. If all of the above are correct, please contact Haier America at 877-337-3639 or [email protected] to arrange service.
If it's in the freezer section, Haier says:
Here are several reasons; the temperature is set to low. Set a slightly higher temperature. Additionally verify nothing is blocking the vents where the cold air is coming out, or being sucked in. Check that nothing is blocking the air circulation; remove any item that is close to the air vents. If all of the above are correct, please contact Haier America at 877-337-3639 or [email protected] to arrange service.
Regarding the freezer temperature:
Generally you want to start with the temperature setting in the middle position and allow the freezer to stay that way for at least 3 days. After three days, adjust the setting to a higher or lower number to suit your preference, allow the unit to stabilize one day before making another change.
