What Does A Blinking Stop Message Mean On My Portable Air Unit

On my Haier unit, the flashing STOP indicator means the water pan is full. The unit is supposed to evaporate the water through the exhaust hose, but this might not always happen if the unit is running continuously for a long time, or if it's a humid day.
To drain the water, put something under the drain nozzle in the back of the unit, and then: (1) Unscrew the cap; (2) Pull the drain plug out.
