Account Opening For A Credit Card Defaulter

Iam in HSBC Bank Indias negative list for not paying my credit card completely according to Bank ,I had payed it  but the collection agency did not accept it..I want to know if I pay the remaining as they said will the Bank remove me from negative list and will i be able to open an account in HSBC  Kochi Branch in Kerala
