Daily Upgrades

Every morning when I turn on my monitor, (the computer is always on) there is a flashing "shield", on the bottom "bar" of my computer. When I hover the mouse over it a tiny window appears telling me that Google wants to update it's program. As I said, this happens every day.How do I get rid of this shild?

This is Windows UAC asking if you want to allow the program to run. Click the shield and then click Yes.
