Tub Has Dropped Down. Now Washer Won't Spin Or Drain. What Could Be The Problem?
I tried to wash a comforter and the tub (basket) dropped all the way down. There was a burning smell and the washer stopped. Now it won't drain or spin.I checked the belt and it's good. The control board works and I can set different cycles, however the tub is still way below the the top of the washer. I can see the suspension rods, and they are all intact.
