Cook Top Burner Not Working

The cooktop section that can heat the inner part of the front right heating element circle or both inner and outer part has stopped working for the inner part only. Is this fixable and if so, how? JSP42SNSS All the other range heaters work fine as does the oven. Thanks

Why is my GE stove top not heating up?

If the power cord is connected and plugged in securely, your appliance power cord connection may be wired improperly. On electric coil burner models, check the burner. If one burner does not heat, remove it and plug it into another burner receptacle of the same size. Then, turn it on and see if it now heats up.

Why does my stove top burner not work?

If all your burners are having trouble heating, it's likely an electrical problem, and you'll need to call in a professional or replace your cooktop. If just one coil is heating improperly, check the connection and make sure the coil itself is firmly plugged in to the cooktop.
