Freezer Too Warm And Refrigerator Too Cold

Unit is a year old and no matter where I set the thermostat, the freezer is too warm (ice cream is melty-soft), and the refrigerator is too cold (34 degrees or lower). The freezer is not overly full, and the vents are not blocked.
