How do I reset my GE refrigerator control panel?
Try resetting the control panel by turning off power to the refrigerator briefly. Unplug the refrigerator or turn it off at the circuit breaker for 30 seconds to reset the control.
Replace the filter. Purchase a GE Appliance Part online.
Make sure the water is turned on to the refrigerator at the shut-off valve.

Defective Evaporator Fan Motor
If the fan isn't working, you'll notice your GE refrigerator warm but freezer cold. This is because the refrigerant isn't chilling enough to keep the fridge cool. When the evaporator fan blades are hard to turn or the motor is noisy it's likely the fan motor has failed.
