Ge Aem12apw1 12000btu Air Conditioner
This a/c has stopped blowing cold air and its only 2yrs old. I've tried setting the unit on 75deg To get the room cool without overheating the unit and then wanted to lower it to 68deg, but that never happened. It feels lijust he fan is on instead of the Cool option, which is obviously selected. Prior to the unit not blowing cool air, the unit blew a few ice chips from the vent. I have since defrosted the unit, it's never on during the day anyway while at work, and checked the rear vents for clogging and nothing head helped. Any guidance on what I can do other than calling a Technician to the house would be appreciative.
