Update Realtek And Ge 98950 Does Not Work
My mic GE 98950 was working properly. I updated Realtek and now the mic connected to the line in (as it was before) does not work. Other microphones conected to the same line in work properly. I bought another GE 98950 tinking that the cord was damaged, but the new mic has the same behavior. Any idea?

It is never a very good idea to update drivers. The programs that purport to do that often are infected, are themselves adware, make errors, and perform a function that should not be performed, anyway. Drivers operate hardware and need no replacement any more than the light switches in your house. New drivers often lead to problems due to poor backward-compatibility.
If the previous driver worked, roll back to it. You can do this in device Manager. Then leave the drivers alone and don't fall for any more scams.
