Clearing Unknown Passwords, 'how'?

My Gateway All In One has a password on it that I never put there or has been changed without my ok and now i'm not able to get on it. So I thought by going into the Bios and disableling the passwords that may clear my password problem and then i'd be able to put in a new one. Will that work?, or can you help me please in doing what I need to do. Please and Thank You for your time.

Hi. The best would to access and reset the bios but the odds are you will have to input this password prior to the reset. An effective method would be the one here
