Gateway Dx 4200 Start Up

My desktop wont boot up, power button will only flash. I've tried a new power supply with the same result ,scratching my head on this one. I've seen forums about this but no clear answers as to fixes.Please Help

power button flash becoause of a faulty video card or memory.

try to remove this device or if you have spare try to change one of them and test if will work.

before you replace try to clean first ,rubbing an eraser to the copper connector of your memory and v-card

and test it.

if those procedure wont work maybe your motherboard will need a replacement..
