Battery Not Detected

when I turn on the unit it gives message "insert battery" even thought battery is installed. Bought a new battery and same result.

There are a few things you can try if your Garmin Zumo 665LM battery is not detected:

Restart your device. This can often fix minor software glitches.

Clean the battery contacts. Use a cotton swab and a bit of rubbing alcohol to clean the battery contacts on both the battery and the device.

Try a different battery. If you have another Zumo 665LM battery, try using it to see if it is detected. If it is, then the first battery may be defective.

Update your device software. Garmin regularly releases software updates for its devices. These updates can include bug fixes and new features. To update your device software, connect it to your computer and open Garmin Express.
