Please check the battery of your Garmin nuvi 2595LMT. Make sure that the battery is working properly or has a charged. You may need to replace the battery if you believe that it is failed to function. You can buy replacement batteries for this device here:

Connect the Garmin to your computer or power supply. Press and hold the bottom right corner of the screen and press and hold down the power button. this is the prompt to be able to reset the Garmin. After 10-15 seconds the screen should come on with the start up screen. If you release your finger from the screen the Garmin shouldn't enter the reset menu. However if it does, just select cancel when the option to confirm reset to cancel the reset.
