How To Transfer My Favorites From My Old Nuvi 1350 To My New Nuvi 2455

is there a way to transfer my favorites from my old Garmin nuvi 1350 to My new Garmin 2455LMT?

I have just done this on my new Garmin and it worked ...

1. Create a new folder on your computer called My Favourites

2. Using your USB cable, plug your old Garmin into your computer

3. Open the ‘portable device’ folder on your computer (this accesses the internal drive on the Garmin)

4. Locate and open the folder on your Garmin named GPX

5. Copy the file named current.gpx from the GPX folder

6. Paste this file (current.gpx) to your new My Favourites folder on your computer

7. IMPORTANT Rename this file from current.gpx TO current1.gpx

8. Unplug your old Garmin from your computer

9. Plug your new Garmin in to your computer

10. Open the ‘portable device’ folder on your computer (this accesses the internal drive on your NEW Garmin)

11. On your new Garmin, locate and open the folder named GPX

12. From My Favourites on your computer, copy the current1.gpx file

13. On your new Garmin, in the GPX folder, paste the file current1.gpx

14. Disconnect your Garmin and restart it

15. You should now find all your old Favourites are now on your new Garmin
