Garmin 405 Instruction Book
i live in france and wish to buy a garmin 405 , will the instrustion booklet be in english as well as french ?
will the watch operate in miles as well as KM ?
if i was to buy the watch in the UK would it still operate with out any problems in France ? or do i need a different setting?

If purchased from a French retailer the manulas should be in French. The online manual I found is English only. The Garmin web site may have other languages available.
The miles verses kilometers should be adjustable. My GPS allows switching back and forth.
The only issue with the UK might be the maps that are available. They typically are by region so you "may" need to load another set of maps. Everything else should work fine.
